What’s in a name?

Well, baby number two is on the way for us and we are totally excited. Stephanie thinks it’s a girl and I think it’s another boy. Let me go on the record as saying that she is probably right (as usual) and I am probably wrong (as usual). And let me also say that we both would be excited if it was a boy or a girl.

The only problem is that we have TONS of names for a boy and ZERO names for a girl. To complicate the problem we’re not finding out in advance whether it’s a boy or a girl so we need two names. So, I need your help. I need my friends in the blogosphere to come to my rescue and help me find a name if our baby happens to be a girl. Fire away!

  1. Ben- Stephanie said “no” to Jim. I tried. How about Jim Perdue Brammer for your boy?Charles- Good suggestions…we have considered Abigail.Gabe- Great to meet you in Greensboro too man. Be careful who you hang out with…I saw you hanging out with Ben!

  2. Ok – no names suggestions (except for Hannah or Grace), but think. Do you want your dtr to be known for the era in which she was born – or would you rather her associated with a character of the Bible of a person that is close to you and Steph? Well, I think I was hanging out with fine people at the convention – even though I failed to run into you!

  3. Hey Jim,Congrats on the baby!!!We are expecting our first boy in about 2 weeks(2 girls now). We have yet to decide upon a name. How crazy is this….Elizabeth wants to make the decision after the baby is born! I have a default name just in case she can’t come up with anything good.Maybe something like “Galeotti”………Kevin in LV
