Saturday evening the whole family is riding in the car from one gathering to another. It was about supper time so I think Jake was pretty hungry. We brought an apple for the ride so Jake could eat along the way. Stephanie twisted the stem off and handed it to Jake in the back seat. About halfway through our ride, I look back and notice that Jake is eating the entire apple; core and all. He literally ate the ENTIRE THING! He ate the seeds, the core, the bottom part and all.
Believe it or not, we do feed our son…I guess he was just extra hungry that day!
It’s funny…somewhere in the back of my mind as a father I’m thinking, “that’s awesome Jake, what a manly thing to do!” Although, truth be told; I don’t think I could (or would) eat the entire apple…core and all.
The best part was his face when we told him he shouldn’t eat the whole apple! Our boys…they are funny!I am glad that you are blogging again.
Pastor Jim & Stephanie,As I told Pastor Jim yesterday morning before the service – your oldest likes popsicles – just not pink ones.He has joined me a couple of times when I am working with three year olds during Children’s Choir. We have story time, prayer and then we sing and play a game of sorts. And then I pass out popsicles. Just not pink ones. Thank you for all you do! I am totally excited about the future of Crosspointe!Becky Mills
