Happy New Year

Happy New Year from Lynchburg, Virginia!

That’s right, I’m spending one of the first weeks of the year in Lynchburg, VA, at Liberty University in a doctoral seminar. Currently, I am taking Evangelistic Preaching with Calvin Miller. Just began today but I am really enjoying it.

It’s a bittersweet course for me because it’s my last doctoral seminar. Sweet because it’s my last class and I feel a sense of accomplishment. Bitter because it’s my last class and I will really miss the learning environment here at LU. I have really enjoyed the process of earning this degree at Liberty and am thankful I continued my education here. Now, I have a dissertation to begin and complete in this next year…that oughta be fun!

More than anything, I just wanted to say Happy New Year. I hope 2008 brings you blessings and joy and the peace that comes from knowing Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.
